In 2006, a passionate group of educators and visionaries came together with a shared dream: to cultivate a new generation of enlightened minds. This dream gave birth to Damla College, a name inspired by the Turkish word for “water droplet.”
Our founders believed that just as a single droplet of water can nurture life and bring growth, so too can the droplets of knowledge enrich and transform young minds. They envisioned a school where students would flourish, nourished by the boundless waters of wisdom and understanding.
To capture this profound vision, they designed a logo that would embody the essence of Damla College.
At the heart of our emblem lay a delicate water droplet, a symbol of purity, potential, and the life-giving force of education. This droplet signified the continuous flow of knowledge that sustains our students, helping them grow and thrive in their educational journey.
However, as the years passed, our school community grew more diverse, embracing students from a myriad of cultural backgrounds. Recognizing the importance of inclusivity and the need for a common language, the board decided in 2016 to rename the school to Fountain College. This new name, in English, reflected our multicultural ethos and the collective spirit of unity and growth.
With the new name came a new logo, one that carried forward the story of the water droplet. The updated emblem depicted droplets coming together to form a water fountain, symbolizing the school’s expansion and the flourishing community of learners. This fountain represents the ever-growing flow of knowledge, continuously nourishing and inspiring our students.
Each element of our new logo has been carefully chosen to reflect our core values and mission. The droplets converging into a fountain signify the nurturing environment we provide, where every student is given the opportunity to absorb, grow, and flourish. It is a reminder that at Fountain College, education is not just about imparting information, but about fostering a lifelong love for learning.
